National FFA Convention & Expo 2014 Expo/Shopping Mall Move-in and Move-out Info Marshalling Yard To better facilitate the Expo/Shopping Mall move-in and move-out processes, the National FFA Expo Management and Kentucky Exposition Center have established a marshalling yard for on the KEC property. The marshalling yard address is: Kentucky Exposition Center 937 Phillips Lane Louisville, KY 40209 Prestonia Lot Click here to see the Kentucky Exposition Center facility map, or see the map attached (if viewing this as a hard copy). Directional signage will also be on site. Directions to the marshalling yard: I65 N Take Exit 131B Fair/Expo Center and turn right on to Phillips Ln. I65 S Take Exit 132 Crittenden Dr – Fair/Expo Center Gates 2 – 3 – 4, turn left onto Phillips Ln and pass through the light at the KEC Main Gate. I264 E Take Exit 11 Crittenden Dr – Fair/Expo Center Gates 2 – 3 – 4, turn right onto Phillips Ln and pass through the light at the KEC Main Gate. I264 W Take Exit 11 Fair/Expo Center and turn right on to Phillips Ln. All Once traveling east on Phillips Lane, turn right into the Prestonia Lot on the south side of Phillips Lane across from KEC Lot B-2. Move-in Procedure Commercial carriers and privately owned vehicles (POVs) must check in at the marshalling yard before proceeding to the docks or self-unloading areas. At the marshalling yard, each carrier or POV will be assigned a number and receive a pass to a dock or self-unloading area. Each will be dispatched to a dock space or unloading area as they
become available. (Waiting time should be anticipated, but every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum.) Vehicles including, but not limited to, commercial carriers that are “dock height” must be unloaded by KEC Event Services and are subject to KEC’s material handling rates. Self-unloading is permitted for POVs (passenger vehicles, pick-up trucks, vans and small box trucks) only.

Move-out Procedure Commercial carriers and POVs must check in at the marshalling yard. If arranging for a carrier pick-up, obtain a bill of lading and labels from the KEC Service Desk. Pack and label freight for loading. Freight should remain in the booth space once prepared. After freight is prepared, return the completed bill of lading to the KEC Service Desk. After empties are returned, KEC will dispatch carriers to dock spaces after a bill of lading is received at the KEC Service Desk and POVs to the self-loading areas. (Waiting time should be anticipated, but every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum.) If handling self-loads without accessing a vehicle to the designated loading areas (including driving on to the floor), do so using the dockside of the exhibit wings. Loading out through lobby areas is not permitted. KEC Service Desk The KEC Service Desk will be located at the back of SWA in the Exhibitor Services area.
