An Expression of Gratitude The family of the late Christopher James Grier is deeply touched by everyone’s expression of love extended to us during this tender moment in our lives. Our loved one, Christopher brought joy, peace, love and laughter to so many in his lifetime. God used Chris as a vessel to spread God’s knowledge and love. God only loaned him to us. Our prayer is God will forever shower you with love each day and during your prayer time you will continue to lift us up! With gratefulness and love, God bless all!

IN MEMORY OF A SPECIAL

BROTHER

13, 1974, in Newton County, Georgia to the late Mrs. Dorothy Nolley-Grier, the late Mr. Harvell “Pookie” Stodghill and stepfather, the late Mr. Willie Roy Grier. He attended Newton County High School and later received his GED. Chris married Tamara Walker and from their union, Christopher James Grier, Jr. was born on February 28, 1998. He later met Charnique Edwards and joined hands in matrimony on July 19, 2004 and from their union, Camryn Ca’mora Grier was born on December 18, 2003 and Imani Willard, his stepdaughter, who was always acknowledged as his daughter since the age of 4.

Today is full of Memories of a Brother laid to rest and every single one of them is filled with happiness

Chris was a Team Leader at Pac-Tiv Corporation at the Covington location and he truly enjoyed his position and co-workers. One of his favorite pastimes is playing Dominoes and he dominated the game of Spades! However, his ultimate favorites were playing basketball and playing Madden representing the “Dallas Cowboys” his favorite team. In his leisure, Chris enjoyed performing odd jobs such as manicuring lawns, painting and restoring homes. He was always available to lend a helping hand! Chris was wise beyond his years. He was known to spread knowledge and wisdom to all who crossed his path. He loved his children and ensured his knowledge and wisdom was passed onto to them. He

had a wonderful relationship with his in-laws, Brenda and Tommie Small and Charlene and Micah Battle. His love and bond for his brother, best friend and confidant, Brian Cooper “Coop” will remain unbreakable! Most importantly, the relationship with his youngest sister, Stacey was truly amazing. He was so proud of Stacey and held her in very high esteem! Sadly, he departed his earthly home on April 1, 2018 and reunited with his mother again. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Stodghill. He leaves to cherish sisters, Sarah (Michael) Wright, Teresa Grier, Mary (Lester) Foster, Sherry (Reginald) Clark, Stacey Grier and Teresa (Wendall) Stewart; brothers, Charles (Mildred) Grier, Donald (Mattie) Stodghill, Harvey Stodghill, Tony Stodghill, Renald (Pamela) Stodghill, Eddie Griffin, and Bruce (Cynthia) Roberts and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and caring friends to cherish his love and special tributes.

TO BE GONE FROM THE BODY IS TO BE PRESENT WITH THE LORD…

That’s why this special message is sent to Heaven above for the angels to take care of And give you ALL OUR LOVE.
