A Solid Waste Management (SWM) policy or third party contract which includes the project building and site has been implemented and will remain in place indefinitely. The SWM policy or responsible third party contract submitted for prerequisite compliance includes requirements of the waste management credits listed below as well as recycling of all mercury-containing lamps (project teams are not required to attempt these credits.) At a minimum, the policy must cover the waste streams that are within the building and site management's control. Recycling of all mercury-containing light bulbs.
