Mrs. K’s Dill Pickles BRINE: 4 quarts Water 1 and 1/2 cups Vinegar 1 cup Pickling Salt 3 cups Sugar 1 cup Pickling Spice (wrapped in a cheese cloth)

Stir all of the ingredients together in a large pot, place the pickling spice (wrapped in cheese cloth) in the brine and bring to a boil. JARS: Put dillweed, cucu mbers and 2 pickling onions in each jar. Cover with the brine. Process in the canner, bringing to a mere boil (when you see the first bubbles). Tighten the lids and place the jars upside down on a towel to seal and cool.
