November 2010 marks the opening of a new wing for Art of the Americas; renovated art of Europe galleries; improved conservation and education facilities; The Linde Family Wing devoted entirely to contemporary art; and a new, larger public space--the Ruth and Carl J. Shapiro Courtyard.

Comments, Special Guidelines, Policies: The Museum is a non profit institution and relies on the generosity of its contributors for support. Fundraising is limited to auctions and raffles. No admission or registration fees, sales or promotion of goods and/or services, exchange of money are allowed on site. All food and food-related services are coordinated by Restaurant Associates, Inc. The Museum prohibits food or beverages entering or exiting the building by any other group in accordance with health regulations. The policy of the Museum also prohibits the bringing in of any spirits, wine, or beer in accordance with the Museum’s liquor license. All events are subject to a 7% local tax on food and beverage and a 6.25% Massachusetts State Tax on all remaining charges. If your group is tax exempt, please provide a letter of state or federal exemption to Restaurant Associates, Inc. when booking the event.
