Instructions on Completing the Bill of Sale Please continue reading for assistance on how to complete the bill of sale. This form is used when a vehicle has been purchased in your personal name and you need to transfer it to the LLC. The original is required to finalize the registration. If the vehicle is in your personal name AND there is a lien holder, you MUST obtain a letter of consent from the lien holder. Fill in the following information in the corresponding fields: “...sum of”: Enter the amount you are “selling” the vehicle for from you personally to the LLC. Any amount is sufficient. “Purchaser”: Enter the name of your LLC. “DL/FEIN/Tribal ID/Corp ID”: We will enter your state filing number. “Address”: Enter 1076 N Ewing St, Helena, MT 59601. The next few lines are the vehicle information: Year, Make, Model, Style (motorhome, coupe, truck, SUV, etc), and VIN. “Odometer Statement”: Enter the current odometer reading if the vehicle is 9 years and newer. Enter the date it was read. “Purchaser’s Signature”: Sign your personal name on behalf of the LLC. “Date”: Enter the date signed. “Purchaser’s printed name”: Print the name of the company.
