Remembering…………………… De’Andre Ladarius “Radio” McMillian, was born to Pam McMillian and Darryl McMillian, in Monroe County, AL, on January 13, 1992. His infectious smile prevailed early in life and people quickly found themselves drawn to him. He had a charming disposition and found that life, in itself, was enough to be thankful and happy for. The flow of love between he and his family was a priceless keepsake in his heart. A young Christian, he accepted Christ at an early age and united with the York Chapel A.M.E. Church in Franklin, AL. De’Andre was an active and attending member who set a spiritual example for other youths. He served as an Usher, Praise Team member and wherever the spirit led him. Educated in the public school system of Monroe County, De’Andre graduated (Monroe County High School) in 2010. His high school years were filled with accomplishments and recognitions. A respected and committed athlete, he gained outstanding recognition in football, basketball and baseball. He was the epitome of a team player. Presidential Classroom, Who’s Who “Most Charming”, FFA and candidate for Mr. MCHS were just a few of his notable school accolades. In his Junior year, he began dating Kelsey. The two share a special bond that will be forever.

INTERMENT YORK CHAPEL A.M.E. CHURCH CEMETERY You were the one I brought home to meet my parents. You were the one that I trusted with my heart. What started as high school affection grew into something that most will never understand……. De’Andre, they could never know what you mean to me and with you, I didn’t have to explain. WE just knew. I feel like a hole has opened up inside of my heart and I know it may never heal. You were more than just the person I fell in love with, you were my best friend and the person I enjoyed simply doing nothing with. I miss you, my friend.
Forever in my heart, heart

Thank You…... From that tragic night until today, you have shown yourselves to be truly compassionate. In every imaginable way, you’ve given your time, love, prayers, and assistance to De’Andre and our family. That is why your kind expressions have been no surprise to us in the most difficult chapter of our lives. We know that God blessed us with De’Andre, if only for a season, that we might know first hand the spirit of love. As hard as it is for us to let him go, we are grateful that we were blessed to call him ours for 22 years. A piece of Heaven walked, breathed, and lived amongst us. Our hearts are filled with love and our lives forever touched, because God gave him to us. Although our hearts are hollowed by grief, today we celebrate a life that was lived without the spoils of pain, sadness or heartache. To the many family members, friends and medical caregivers who have held his hand, rendered care and tenderly met his needs, we appreciate you. We thank God for De’Andre and we thank God for each of you.
