My Monster Bag - Supply List My Monster Bag Pattern by Brenda Miller Fabric required by pattern Notions required by pattern Rotary cutter 45mm or 60mm, 6 ½” x 24” Ruler and 12 ½” square Neutral Piecing thread Contrasting or Matching thread for topstitching (I recommend Matching ) Sewing Machine ¼” Foot for Sewing Machine, Walking foot Sewing Notions – straight pins, scissors to clip threads, fabric scissors, seam ripper, etc…
Class Prep This will take some time so do this as soon as you can. On Page 1 of the pattern: 1. Cut fabric as per pattern requirements 2. Cut batting and interfacing (I used Pellon® fleece for batting, Decor bond by Pellon® and Peltex by Pellon®) I know it’s a lot of cutting but if you have this done assembly will be a snap and you should finish before you leave class! Sewing of Strips 1. Sew 9 Strips together and Press all the seams in one direction – Make 2 2. Sew 6 Strips together and Press all the seams in one direction – Make 2 This will insure completion and a beautiful finish!!!!
