SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE INVITATION FOR BIDS UNDER BUDGET: MoF/INDIA

Water Supply Project Network in PalWan Province, ChanKar DistnCt
Contrad No: MRRO-316/R.PROGRAM-38/MOF.INOIA-l/CC/PRW/93 The Procurement Directorate of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) J intends to apply part of its budget towards the cost of [Water Supply Project Network in Parwan Province, Charikar District, and intends to apply parts of the proceeds of this allotment to payments under the contract for Water Supply Project Network in Parwan Province, Charikar District.
1. The Procurement Directorate of MRRD now invites for sealed bids from eligible bidders for Water Supply Project Network in PalWan Province, ChanKar DistnCt
2.
The delivery/construction period is 540 calendar days effective from issuance of letter of start of the work.

Bidding will be conducted through both international/ national open tender procedures specified in the Public Procurement Law (PPL), 2005, the PPU Circulars, in particular the Circular PPU/C005, Rules of procedure for Public Procurement in Afghanistan, and Is open to bidders from all countries as well as Afghanistan as defined in the bidding document l •

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the Procurement Directorate of MRRD at the address below Department of Works from 9:00 - 15:00 except Thursdays and Fridays. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee 2 of 1000 one thousand Afghanis.

The method of payment will be based on actual work done based on contract Gec/SCc.

Bids must be delivered to the address below by Department of Works, Procurement Directorate, Ministry of Rural RehabIlitation and Development MRRD, Nila Bagh Road Darul Aman Kabul Afghanistan. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 300000 USD or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency3. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders' representatives and anyone who choose to attend at Procurement Directorate, Conference Room, Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development MRRD in November, 17, 2014, at 10:00am. Late Bids after November, 17, 2014, at 10:ODam will be rejected.
