I am currently a Systems Engineer for ISSMP, and have done Structural Analysis work and Project Engineering for NASA. Why do you like to participate on the NASA@work platform? I think the idea behind NASA@work is great. I only participate when I have a valuable idea to the challenge, although I do read all the challenges that are active. What do you think are the biggest benefits of using NASA@work?
New NASA@work Award System Coming Soon! On October 1, we plan to
NASA has a lot of great people from which to leverage solutions from. The way it is structured at NASA normally taps the potential of only a few people for any given specific project and with good reason. NASA@work gives NASA the ability to tap into all of its talent, in the most efficient manner.
launch our new NASA@work Award System so be sure to jump on the platform for our award system unveiling!!
How do you think NASA@work can best be utilized by NASA employees?
Check out the original submissions and the votes for the NASA@work award system.
In the solution space always start with NASA@work, and then use the results to request better proposals, knowing that a good brainstorming has already been done. I think even if you already have a solution in mind, the NASA@work challenge has the potential to provide better ideas at no risk. The results from the NASA@work challenge could be used even when a specific project gets funded to move forward, as background/research information. Anything else you would like to say about NASA@work and/or your experience: I wish there were more challenges.
