A completed evaluation and full day attendance are required for 6.0 CNE contact hours to be awarded. As a result of attending, participants will be able to: • Expand and update knowledge of current school health topics. • Develop current approaches to several specific school health issues within their scope of practice. • Expand school nurse support network. • Develop increased awareness of educational tools, resources and organizations available to assist school nurses in their practice. • Recognize the necessity for school nurses to be aware of and involved in professional and policy issues in the educational setting. A completed evaluation and full day attendance are required for 5.0 CEU’s to be awarded.
