NATIONAL BOOMER MINISTRY CONFERENCE Texas
For the first time in American history, people over the age of 50 outnumber those under under 50. By the year 2030, the number of people over the age of 65 will have doubled from 40 million to more than 80 million. This surge of aging baby boomers presents a unique opportunity for us to find creative ways to minister to them like never before as they shift the climate and culture of our country like never before. To that end, the annual National Boomer Ministry Conference, hosted by the Texas Baptists Great Commission Team, provides resources, training, and one-on-one consultations, to help senior adult ministers discover the most effective ways to engage active aging adults. Through Cooperative Program giving, our church helps support this growing area of ministry and the Texas Baptists National Boomer Ministry Conference. Let’s pray that God will work through this year’s Boomer conference to spark a revival in this valuable and influential generation.
