National Signing Day- Participation Criteria
Our National Signing Day Ceremonies hosted by Lincoln-Way East recognizes student-athletes that participate in a sport at our school and has committed to competing in athletics at the college level. All student-athletes participating must be in good academic standing and approved by the administration. A student that is signing to play a sport that we offer at Lincoln-Way East has to participate with that team as a senior (try-out, active team member) to be recognized. This is a great commitment that we are very excited for and proud of. Student-Athletes must make sure they are 100% certain that the school they are representing in the signing ceremony is their ultimate and final choice. Student-Athletes that are making a commitment to playing at a Division III or non-athletic scholarship can participate in our February or May Signing Day. Any student-athlete that is making their college commitment should communicate with their varsity coach and Mr. Vander Kooi.
