Market Operations: (Selling space size and fee is specified) For a one year commitment or a seasonal event you have the option of paying either the full amount or on a monthly basis due the first Saturday of the month. Payment for a single event is due one week before the event. How much space do you need? I further agree to operate my stall in accordance with these rules and regulations and to pay all applicable fees as set out in the rules and regulations. I do understand that the stall fee, and hours of operation are set in the rules and regulations, and I will abide by them. I further understand that failure to comply with the rules and regulations of the Farmers Market could mean dismissal from the market. Naturally North Port Farmers’ Market Rules 1. All vendors must be set up by 9 AM (No vendor is admitted after 8:45 AM). All vehicles must exit the market by 8:45AM. Unload your vehicle, remove the vehicle, and come back to set up. 2. Market closure is 2PM. 3. No vehicle will be permitted inside the market before 2:15 PM. Pack up while waiting for customers to clear. Do not bring your vehicle into the market until you’re COMPLETELY packed up. 4. All products sold must meet the requirements of local and state agencies and, if sold by weight, with scales approved by the Department of Agriculture and the Bureau of Weights and Measures. 5. All applicable licenses and permits for products sold must be obtained and kept current. Copies of applicable permits and licenses will be kept on file with the market manager. 6. Additional products or substitutions may not be offered for sale without prior written approval. 7. No alcohol consumption or smoking is allowed in the market. 8. No “shouting” or “hawking” of products. 8. Be courteous and considerate of other vendors at all times; any verbal or physical abuse by a vendor to another vendor, the Market Manager, or member of the public is cause for immediate expulsion from the market by the Market Manager. 10. After unloading, and before setting up, vehicles should be moved to an appropriate parking spot. 11. All vendors are responsible for providing their own trash containers and removing their trash. Dumpsters and recycling bins will be provided for vendors to dispose of their collected trash. 12. Trash cans are provided for general public use. 13. Vendors must comply with requests from the Market Manager during market hours. 14. Pedestrian crossways and sidewalks are to remain clear at all time. 15. Vendors‟ radios must only be heard in vendors‟ booths. 16. Flyers that vendors would like to hand out during market must be approved. 17. Vendors and public may use the port-a-let. 18. Vendors‟ areas should be neat, attractive, appealing and in good sanitary condition for customers. Vendors must clean up their areas, leaving them in good sanitary condition, before departing. Tents or umbrellas are recommended for shade. All vendors should have covered tables to display items they are selling. Whenever possible, use tablecloth covers that reach to the ground to provide „cover‟ for supplies. Use pre-packaged hand wipes for cleansing hands during market hours. 19. Vendors are encouraged to erect signs on their stalls (business name, etc.). Signs should be attached to tents or stand no more than 8 feet above the ground. Signage elsewhere is not permitted, without express approval of the Market Manager. 20. Non-payment of rental fees will result in immediate expulsion from the market.
