Row 1: Dc in fifth ch from hook, dc in next ch, ch 3, skip next 3 ch, dc in next ch, ch 3, skip next 3 ch, *dc in next 5 ch, ch 3, skip next 3 ch, dc in next ch, ch 3, skip next 3 ch; repeat from * across to last 3 ch, dc in last 3 ch, turn— Row 2: Ch 5, skip first 3 dc, (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) in next dc (shell made), *ch 5, skip next 5 dc, shell in next dc; repeat from * across to last 2 dc, ch 2, skip last 2 dc, dc in top of turning ch, turn—7 shells (pattern repeats). Row 3: Ch 6, skip first ch-2 space, 5 dc in next ch-1 space (fan made), ch 3, dc in next ch-5 space, *ch 3, fan in next ch1 space, ch 3, dc in next ch-5 space; repeat from * across working last dc in 3rd ch of ch-5 turning ch, turn—7 fans.
