Cork/Mica: As with all natural wallcovering, color variation is normal. Natural Leaves: This handmade, organic wallcovering is crafted with natural leaves and fibers which may result in unevenness of finish or irregularities in the leaves. The uniqueness of each leaf creates an inherent variation of design and adds to the natural beauty of the product. Color and design variation is normal. A pleasant paneling effect, a natural characteristic of handmade wallcovering, can also be expected. Sisal: Grasscloth is a handmade product. It is woven with natural plant fibers that give the finished product a certain unevenness. Being handmade and hand stained, it is common that shades will vary from roll to roll and from end to end of a single roll. For these reasons, we urge you to take extra care in examining the grasscloth you plan to hang prior to and during the actual installation. ADDITIONAL PRODUCT ATTRIBUTES Biodegradable WARRANTY Carefully examine your order for color, design, quantity or imperfections before cutting. Claims against wallcoverings will not be accepted after cutting and hanging. Manufacturer will replace all defective merchandise with new wallcoverings of equal value but will not be responsible for labor costs. Color changes (hot spots) or discoloration due to unneutralized plaster and improper wall preparations are not covered in this warranty. These handmade wallcoverings have natural variations in color and texture. Because of these variations, your order may vary slightly in color from the sample book and even from roll to roll. Therefore, it is important to receive your actual order before planning coordinating colors. SPECIAL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
Cork: Do not allow paste or excessive water to stain the front of the wallcovering. Do not use a seam roller as it may crush the cork. Subtle shading differences between strips tend to soften over time as the wallcovering begins to oxidize. Butt-join, do not overlap. Mica: Do not allow paste or excessive water to stain the front of the wallcovering. Applying the paste to the wall may prove to be a preferred option for this product considering that excess paste on the rough mica surface will be difficult to remove and could cause discoloration. Do not use a seam roller as it may crush or imprint the mica. Use a soft brush for smoothing the sheet to the wall. Subtle shading differences between strips tend to soften over time as the wallcovering begins to oxidize. Butt-join, do not overlap.
