PROFIT SHARE

DOESN’T ADD UP Keller Williams calls it “profit sharing.” You recruit agents for the company and collect a portion of your recruits’ commissions. But who really profits? In 2015, less than 40% of KW agents received profit share. They averaged roughly $200 a month – equal to about half of a commission for the year. At RE/MAX, agents profit by selling real estate. Comparing agents at large RE/MAX brokerages to agents at large KW brokerages, RE/MAX agents averaged more than twice as many transaction sides per agent as Keller Williams agents in 2015.*
