Entries close Sunday 22 January With Payment: 1.This competition is run under ESNZ rules. www.nzequestrian.org.nz 2.The Organizing Committee reserves the right to alter the programme/prize money as it deems fit. 3. Riders entered in classes over 80cm must be full members of ESNZ. (first year is free) Horses/ponies need either ESNZ Equine registration and Jumping Discipline Start or pay a Casual Jumping Levy of $15 for 1 day or $25 for 2 days (horses using casual levy may not enter classes over 1.20m and ponies over 1.10m). All horses pay an ESNZ Jumping Levy of $5. Registered horses/riders can also enter Introductory classes in ring 2 &3. Entered riders may not be exchanged with another rider without secretary approval and correct registration with ESNZ. 4.Unregistered riders in Introductory classes (80cm and under in ring 2 &3) and 1 parent of all riders under16, need to be at least Community Members with ESNZ (free). Go to ESNZ website to join. Horses and Ponies in introductory classes just pay ESNZ $5 show levy. 5. Late entries will incur a fee & may not be accepted. Please enter/pay on time and preferably using Equestrian Entries online entry system. No payment, no start unless prior arrangements have been made. 6. Formal dress/club uniform 7. Ground Levies $3 Per Horse/pony to be paid with entries. Add $4.00 for entries not done online 8. Over night Yards $5 per horse Camping $5 per person payable with entries 9.Riders ride at their own risk and organisers take no responsibility for accidents to rider, horses, spectators, property. 13. Prize money may be replaced by product or vouchers of same or greater value.

Show Hunter Conditions Run under ESNZ SHNZ Rules & Equitation Series Conditions 2015 Refer to ESNZ website Show Hunter page for current rules & Equitation series conditions as well as equipment allowed. 1. Cat A ponies 133cm and under. 2. Cat B ponies 133cm & up to and including 143cm. 3. Cat C ponies over 143cm & up to 148cm. *ponies may enter categories outside their height to allow a green combination to jump the height suited to their experience. Excludes High Pts classes where ponies must compete in their height class. 4. Rider Equitation classes (judging rider over jumps): riders may only ride one Horse/Pony in each class. Pony Rider equitation open to any size pony and Rider. 5. Under 30pts classes are restricted to those with less than 30pts on current sticker. 6. Riders must be registered to enter open classes and those with prize money. 7. Highlighted classes are part of the national series. 8. To compete in ANY Show Hunter Series Class (those in bold), riders must have a Current ESNZ Rider Membership. All Equines must have a Current ESNZ Equine Registration and a Current Jumping & Show Hunter Annual Start. Equines cannot compete in Series Classes using an ESNZ Casual Start.
9. HoY points will not be allocated to horses/Ponies on a Casual Equine Start 10. Unregistered riders with a community membership may enter Introductory classes ie those without prize money and under 80cm. 11. All Nelson Area riders will be allocated jobs to help to run the day. Set up on Saturday, pick up poles, gate steward, pack up afterwards, timers, writers etc. Please choose your job on the online entry or email your preference to [email protected] We need more regular volunteers so please offer to be a part of the Nelson Show Jumping Group.
Trophies won in 2015/16 shows need to be returned clean to present at this show.
