KYA Board of Directors Minutes of Meeting April 18, 2016 Call to order – 7:02 p.m. by Kevin Allen Treasurer’s Report motion to approve by Judd Douglass and seconded by Jeff Allison. Unanimous approval. Minutes from February (no meeting held in March) motion to approve by Robin Morris and seconded (unrecorded) Unanimous approval.
New Business: Consideration of Jason Lewis resignation as a Football Commissioner in February. Motion to approve by Garvin Fouts and Glen Redfern seconded motion. Unanimous approval.

Basketball / Select Basketball: Amy Brubaker
Playoffs in May the top 4 make tournament.
Softball / Select Softball: Daniel Flores Playoffs begin May 16th and go through last week of school. Softball budget is in the red but through tournaments and a T-shirt /bow selling opportunity KYA will get 20% of all sales. In hopes to help get back in the positive.
Football: Garvin Fouts May 7th Playoffs May 21st KYA Super Bowl Saturday June 1st registration for Fall begins
Baseball / Select Baseball: Chance Heady
Rec. All-Star Tryout May 3rd May 21st Final day of Rec. Season Rec. Season tourney May 23rd-May 28 June 17th - June 19th Keller Summer Classic Tournament
Treasure Report: Nathan Brubaker Nothing to Report Facilities Report: Jack Jarrett Fence blew down by field 17 and repaired. Presidents Report: Kevin Allen Delivered non-residence fee of approximately $40,000 on April 14, 2016 to the City of Keller. Upcoming meeting with Parks and Rec. P & R invited KYA to offer input and guidance on future needs at the Keller Sports Park. Executive Board to attend and present short-term and long-term goals for KYA. Discussed enforcing Park Rules: No dogs, new gates… Website Updates – we are considering a new vendor to consolidate our websites (Blue Sombrero & League Lineup) into one online platform. ALL KYA Sports will be under 1 unified (front) website but each sport will have their own designed page.
