Futurising New Designers 2010

If you can’t get enough of festivals showcasing the best in creative talent (and, let’s face it, who can?) then the New Designers summer 2010 exhibition, happening in Islington from the 1st of July, needs to be written in big, fat marker pen in your diary. From architecture to animation, furniture to fashion, graphics to glass, New Designers is renowned for showcasing the very best in graduate design. This year marks its 25 th anniversary and, once again, the July exhibition showcases 3,500 of the brightest and most creative talents from Britain’s leading design courses. It’s an event for fresh thinking and aspiration. With the support of leading brands and commercial organisations such as Hallmark Cards Plc and The Goldsmiths’ company, the event has propelled designers such as Thomas Heatherwick, Ella Doran, BarberOsgerby and Frederickson Stallard into the design sector spotlight. Of particular interest will be the New Designers satellite event One Year On, which showcases a specially selected group of small companies and individual designer-makers whose work has matured and progressed in their first year in business. Sound good? There’s more! New Designers 2010 has teamed up with us to offer Futurising attendees a 25% discount on the price of admission.
