2016 Men’s Preseason Runner of the Year Sydney Gidabuday Adams State Sophomore Orange, California Gidabuday competed in the 2015 cross country season with his best finish coming in the 8K at the Joe I. Vigil Open with a time of 25:21.7. In the RMAC Cross Country Championships he placed fourth individuallyin the 8K with a time of 24:44.8, helping Adams State secure a RMAC title. He was sixth overall in the NCAA DII Cross Country Championships finishing the 10K in 29:39.9, where his performance led Adams State to National Runner-Up. 2016 Women’s Preseason Runner of the Year Georgia Porter Western State Colorado Senior Stevenson, Washington Porter finished second individually in the 6K at the RMAC Cross Country Championships with a time of 21:18.7, as well as second in the NCAA DII South Central Region Cross Country Championships with her best time of 20:48.8. Her performance led Western State to the NCAA DII Cross Country Championships, where her time of 20:57.3 helped secure a fifth place finish in the national championship.
