Seeds of Hope The Seeds of Hope campaign was a huge success!! The Wildwood Soup Kitchen and Wildwood Food Pantry will share $38,976.20. The total since the year 2005 is $207,142!!!! Pictured below are some of the volunteers and guests that participated in the Pancake Breakfast. This was held at the Soup Kitchen on Saturday, February 23rd.

Board of Directors Meeting

Interested in helping out the Wildwood Soup Kitchen? Here are some ‘needs’ right now.

The regular meeting of the Wildwood Soup Kitchen Board of Directors was held on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at the First Presbyterian Church of Wildwood. The meeting was called to order at 11:35 a.m. Present were: President, Nancy Purnell; Vice President, Ed Perry; Treasurer, Dianne Letch; Secretary, Marge O’Kane; Soup Kitchen Manager, Donna Slider; Gail Merrell; Rev. Bill Kramp, Judy Chaffin, Audrey Edwards, and Betty Noyes. Absent were Dana McCarthy and Bruce Conners.

Do you like to bake? We can always use home baked desserts for our guests. Please deliver to the Soup Kitchen between 8:30 – 11:00 in the morning, Monday – Friday, in a non – returnable container. Need drivers to commit for summer months. Once a week – or whatever time you can give – training available.

The Treasurer’s Report was accepted and will be filed for audit. The minutes of the January 10, 2013 meeting were accepted.

Old Business Volunteer Recognition Dinner - The dinner will be held at New Covenant Methodist Church on Thursday, April 18th at 5:30. The Committee will meet in the near future to finalize plans for the program, gifts, etc. Seeds Of Hope Campaign Update - Gail reported that, with two weeks left in the Campaign, $34,016.20 has been collected so far. New Business Nominating Committee – Presentation of Slate of Officers - Gail presented the following Slate of Officers: President - Rev. Bill Kramp Vice President - Ed Perry Treasurer - Dianne Letch Recording Secretary - Nancy Purnell Corresponding Secretary - Marge O’Kane

The Board will vote at the next meeting. Additional Items of Discussion Repairs were made on the emergency generator; and a new bug zapper will be purchased. The meeting was adjourned at 1:05 p.m. The next Board of Directors meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 9, 2013.
