NEWS BRIEFS - And the Winner Is!

For the months of October through December a new series of classes have been scheduled for selected Sunday afternoons, the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday of each month through December 18th. Each of these fun classes will be co-taught by Deb Portelance and Sherry Bishop. These classes are designed to get enrollees ready for the end-of-the-year holidays. Each class will focus on a new, quick project that can be finishedby the end of the class session. Every class and project are different and class fees will vary depending on the project. Each completed class project is eligible to enter into a competition in which the winner will win a $25.00 store credit prize. The winner from the October 30th class, SUNDAY SURPRISE is Deana Reyes, with her completed two table runners. Our congratulations go out to her on her achievement.

Classes & Events Because there has been a rather extensive increase in sewing class and event offerings, we have had to formalize procedures which will need to be followed by instructors to ensure that space is available and that ample time for promotions and notifications to prospective attendees is given. Quilt ‘n Thyme Sew & Vac, Inc. is always on the lookout for adding classes to its roster. Our in-store classroom is provided at no charge, with a capacity of up to 15 students for hands-on training and more for lectures and demonstrations only. To allow customers time to sign-up for classes and to
ensure there are no scheduling conflicts, all completed and approved class information is due one month prior to the scheduled class. If this deadline is not met the class cannot be posted on Quilt’n Thyme’s website for attendee sign-up purposes nor will it be included in the newsletter for the month it is scheduled.
