~Erin

"The siblings of special needs children  are quite special. Absolutely accepting and totally loving, from birth, someone who is different mentally, and has a different way of seeing the world, is a wonderful trait. To create an environmentally sustainable agricultural community of choice in the Triangle of NC, where adults on the autism spectrum can live dignified and meaningful lives with support. Additionally, to offer person-centered day camp and track-out programs to school-aged children with autism, in which they can thrive and continue to grow and learn socially, physically and intellectually.

Camp Bluebird, a division of 3 Irish Jewels Farm, is a day camp designed for school-aged children with autism. The mission of Camp Bluebird is to nurture each child on the autism spectrum as a whole -- emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually -- encouraging exploration and appreciation of the world around them while learning through play, with a dedicated, respectful creative and professional staff in a safe and stimulating environment.
