FOREVERYOUNG TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM GIVES SENIOR CITIZENS OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN TECHNOLOGY FROM KHS STUDENTS Free education program put on by Kimberly High School students connects generations while sharing knowledge and skills. Kimberly, Wis. – February 17, 2016 – Based on the overwhelming interest and participation in the ForeverYoung program, senior citizens within the Kimberly Area School District will once again be able to learn technology skills from Kimberly High School (KHS) students in the free education series. The ForeverYoung initiative, which is in its third school year, is meant to create a stronger connection between students and senior citizens in the local community. KHS teachers Brad Klitzke and Carla Zellmer along with students from the high school, will work one-on-one with senior citizens to help them become more connected to their family and friends through the use of technology. Students will help them learn about various technologies that the participants are interested in, such as using Google, Facebook, Twitter, Skype, iPads and Apps. Sessions will be interactive and the District will provide technology equipment or participants can bring their own. The sessions are scheduled from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at Kimberly High School’s Library Media Center. The 2016 Spring ForeverYoung sessions are:
