Nov 30 - Dec 11 we will be collecting gently used toys and books for Love Inc. Please keep in mind that many of these toys will be used for Christmas presents so be mindful that the toys have all the necessary parts. Thank you.
Operation Christmas Child Touch the life of a child for the Lord through Operation Christmas Child. Operation Christmas Child brings joy to children and families in desperate situations worldwide through simple, gift-%illed shoeboxes and evangelistic materials that share God’s love. A shoebox (or plastic container) %illed with small toys and other gifts can open hurting hearts to God. Boxes will be collected at school November 9-13. Please enclose a $7 donation to cover the cost of shipping and other projects. This should be enclosed in the envelope that was sent home. You may also add a personal letter in your shoebox. Wrap each box in a way that they may be opened for inspection (lid separate from box). Mark your box for boy or girl and the age. Place a rubber band around the entire box. Thank you! A message from one of our CCS parents: Hey everyone! In reading an article about the shoeboxes, they mentioned that the soccerball is the end-all be-all gift for boys in any country. Ikea has deflated full-size soccer balls for $4.99. You can pick up an air pump at Five Below for five dollars.
