We break up Friday 18th December for Christmas Holidays. Collecting Children from School As it is starting to get dark on an evening, especially after the AfterSchool Clubs please ensure there is a responsible adult to collect your child, this includes the children in Year 6 who generally walk home alone. Year 1 – Trip The children in Year 1 are going to the Hancock Museum for a Dinosaur workshop on Tuesday 17th November. We would be grateful for as many parent/carers to come along and help. Please let Miss Evans know if you can help out. Thank you. Home School Contact Diaries We have introduced a Home School Contact Book. This is to improve communications between home and school. Children will need to bring their book to school and take it home on a daily basis. Thank you for your co-operation. Year 2 – Forest School This weeks ‘Forest School’ session is cancelled on Friday due to Children in Need. It will be on next Friday. Please remember to bring in warm clothing such as hats and gloves. Thank you.

Year 2 – Class Assembly The topic for Year 2 Assembly is ‘Relaxing’ could all children bring in a photograph by Monday 16th November showing something they do in their spare time to help them relax. All photographs will be returned. The Assembly is next Wednesday 18th November at 2.45pm. All parents and carers are welcome to attend.
Nursery – Colour of the Week Please encourage your child to find the colour of the week and bring in an item as homework. The colour of the week is ‘Blue’. Children in Need We will be raising money for Children in Need this Friday 13th November. Children can come to school in non- uniform or dressed as their favourite Superhero for a voluntary donation of £1. There will be fun activities in the classroom as well as doing a Copper Trail so start collecting your copper! Please bring in donations of cakes and biscuits as soon as possible. The children can also bring money in for Juice and Hot Dogs and also for the Cake Sale, please make sure all money is in a named purse or envelope. Thank you in anticipation for your kind donations. COATS As the weather is changing it is very important that all of the children have an outdoor coat in school as they need one for playtimes and lunchtimes. It is especially important for Year 5 and 6 to have a coat on Tuesdays when they attend swimming lessons as they are wet and cold when they are travelling back to school.
