There are many additional activities that the club needs help with including recruitment/advertising, match coordination, and fundraising. We’ve already heard from several members with interest to assist. If you have not already reached out and would like to help or lead an activity (which includes sitting on the board), please email us at

WINTER (INDOOR) HOCKEY Thanks to the help of Donnae and the TarDevil youth, the TarDevil adults have continued to scrimmage indoor throughout the winter. While we were unable to acquire a consistent time and location to have an indoor league this year, we have built our reputation and are planning to have an indoor league beginning in November 2015. Jarred Martin, ex national team player (far right) got involved
SPRING AND FALL (NC TARDEVILS FHC) Outdoor practices and matches for the NC TarDevils Adult FHC are starting soon. The plan is to practice once a week and have matches against other adult teams and college clubs as often as possible. Stay tuned over the next couple weeks for the full schedule.
There are 2 ways to participate with the TarDevil Adult FHC: 1 - Full Member Annual membership is $175 (payment plans are available). Full members get priority access to all practices and games (estimate 30 - 40 for the year, so about $5 per event). Register at www.TriangeFHL.com/Registration

2 - Partial Member $10 per practice or game. Note that full members get priority access to games and tournaments, so some events may fill up.
GENERAL NEWS SUMMER LEAGUE (TFHL) The Triangle Field Hockey League has begun preparing for the summer league. We’re looking for your input to make this year even better than last! Please fill out our survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/QX7Z8LY.
FUNDRAISING / SPONSORSHIPS Through the help of our 3 sponsors, the club has managed to acquire jerseys, a goal, and reduce costs to members. In order to continue keeping costs down and purchasing much needed equipment for our new club (reversible pennies, another goal, etc), we are looking for additional corporate sponsorships and fundraising ideas. Please reach out to the companies you work for and places you frequent to see if they would be willing to sponsor the club to build hockey in the Triangle. No donation is too little and the entire amount of the donation can be written off of their taxes. $500 will get companies a spot on our website, www.trianglefhl.com, and in newsletters and other communications for 12 months. Higher amount may get logos on equipment and on banners at events (where allowed). Please contact one of the officers or email
[email protected] if you have any leads or would like us to follow up with someone.
UMPIRE TRAINING There is a lack of umpires in the area, and they earn good money! If you’re interested in umpire training, we will begin conducting training sessions before and during TarDevil FHC practices during the spring. We plan to have you ready to officiate over the summer so you can earn some additional money while playing for free! A future umpire in training
