Hi Folks, Welcome to Hutt City and if you are a father, 'Happy Father's Day". Denise would have people believe that every day is Father's Day and there are many times that I would have to agree with her. What a privilege it is to be part of developing the next generation, to leave my fingerprints on someone who has the opportunity and possibility to far exceed any heights that I may have risen to. To give them the tools for living and being an influence for a great outcome. To invest in them so that they too can invest in their children. Fatherhood is undoubtedly a challenge and a privilege. I love my kids more than they will ever know, not because they are high achievers, but because they are my kids. God deemed them worthy of life and me worthy to have the chance to influence them for His kingdom's sake. May God truly bless you as today you reflect on the blessings and responsibilities of being in a family. Stephen Crump Major

You may (or may not!) be aware that we keep on hand a supply of meals and baking in a freezer, for those who suddenly need some extra support while going through a difficult time. These meals are usually something like a shepherds pie, pasta bake, curried or other sausage dishes and soups that are able to be dated and kept in the freezer until required. Baking such as small batches of muffins and little loaves that can be frozen, are also very acceptable. Today, I suddenly find we only have three meals and two containers of rice left. If you are doing any cooking or baking over the next wee while and would like to do a little extra for our Pastoral Care Ministry that would be gratefully received and very much appreciated. If you are in a LifeGroup, you may like to challenge your Group members to spend an evening at the Corps kitchen baking or cooking some meals and have a meal together at the same time! Thanks for all you do for the Ministry of your Church. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. Barry Christoffersen Pastoral Care Coordinator. Phone 5700273: Email: [email protected]

Kimanzi is 15, he lives with his Grandmother and father.
