I am pleased that you are able to join with us today in both celebrating our faith and also seeking to hear from God. I wonder if your week has been one of those roller coaster rides. I know we have certainly been distracted by the untimely passing of Eva McGeorge. Anna and Ian had been so looking forward to this birth and for her to pass away after only 40 minutes, was indeed heartbreaking. Again I am reminded about the relevance of relationships and the importance of keeping short accounts. None of us know what lies around the corner; all we can be certain of is the here and now. May God bless you and keep you faithful.
JUST EAT IT. ‘Just Eat It’ is a chance to learn more about the problem of food waste and what you can do about it. Wellington’s ‘Love Food Hate Waste’ team will be there to answer your questions with Master Chef’s Elizabeth Marshall whipping up some delicious canapés made from NZ’s top 10 wasted foods! Date: 1st August Place: Pauatahanui Lighthouse Cinema Time: 8pm Cost: $15

A celebration for the life of Eva May McGeorge will be held here at the Corps on Monday 25th July at 1.30pm.

This collection for the international work of the Salvation Army will take place on Sunday 28th August and is now only 5 weeks away. Please ensure that you get the 'One Family/One Hope' handouts from the foyer of the Church.
