INTRODUCTION This guide is to be used to install the LCD screen in the case that the screen is damaged or no longer functioning properly due to overuse. A Phillips screwdriver will be needed to complete this installation.
TOOLS: Phillips #00 Screwdriver (1)

Step 1 — Back Cover
Remove wrist strap by pulling the strap through the string.
Open SD/Battery cover.

Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the four screws on the bottom of the camera.
Step 4
Using fingers, pull the silver side panels from each side.

On the right side of the camera (that contains the wrist strap loop), use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws holding the back plate in place.
Repeat this step for the left side.
Step 6
Using fingers, pull the back silver faceplate to separate it from the rest of the camera.

Step 7 — LCD Screen
Gently lift up LCD Screen and remove ribbon cables from ports.
Remove LCD Screen from Camera.
