Manager, Marketing – The New Jersey Devils The New Jersey Devils is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Manager of Marketing. This position plays a center-stage role in the administration and direction of the marketing, promotion, advertising and community relations activities associated with the New Jersey Devils. Prudential Center is home to the three-time Stanley Cup Champion and 2011-2012 Eastern Conference Champion New Jersey Devils, Seton Hall NCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball, the WNBA’s New York Liberty, over 200 events a year including major concerts and championships, the 2011 & 2012 NBA Draft and the 2013 NHL Draft. Opened in October 2007 as the first major-league venue after 25 years built in the New York Metropolitan Area, the arena now welcomes over 2 million guests through its doors annually and currently ranked sixth overall, according to leading industry publication Venues Today. The 18,000 seat $375 million arena is operated by Devils Arena Entertainment, in common ownership with the New Jersey Devils as its principal occupant. In 2011, the New Jersey Devils launched Mission Control, the first digital command center in professional sports that listens, responds and interacts with fans. Become part of the excitement! The Manager of Marketing will be part of the marketing team which is responsible for the direction of the all marketing, promotion, new media, community development, media buying, and day to day event support for the New Jersey Devils. The ideal candidate will develop, aggressively promote, and reinforce a consistent marketing brand of the Devils that will additionally enhance the relationship with promoters and business partners, and increase the audience of the New Jersey Devils.

Work with Director of Marketing in planning and executing a detailed marketing campaign with the goal of maximizing attendance and related revenue generation Assist with all aspects of advertising and media campaigns which include cash allocation, trade media allocation and conversion, and new media development and placement Work closely with PR staff to integrate strong publicity efforts for each ad campaign Track sales of related events and adjusting advertising plans accordingly Work with sponsorship to create and ensure mutual satisfaction with sponsorrelated features, events and in-arena promotions are being met Reviewing and analyzing each games performance Maximize the marketing opportunities of all outlets including telecasts, radio broadcasts, corporate partnerships, community relations programs and events Grow the New Jersey Devils reach and business by developing compelling, integrated advertising, promotions, publicity, event, entertainment, community outreach programs, online, presentation and collateral materials with consistent voice, message and imagery Build upon large scale initiatives through campaigns and events in cooperation with the marketing partners and vendors Reconciling advertising invoices and marketing expenses for each game Build upon large scale initiatives through campaigns and events in cooperation with the marketing partners and vendors

REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree in sports marketing, business administration or related field • Two to Five years’ experience in a marketing position with a team, arena or venue • Possess strong sales and marketing experience in a decision-making capacity • Must have experience working with/for a team or an arena/venue, with a clear understanding of ticket sales • Must have an understanding of advertising and relevant media buying experience • Excellent oral and written communications skills • Strong project management and copy writing skills • Must possess the ability to analyze, and prepare multiple budgets • Must be flexible in working extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required Send resume and cover letter to [email protected] or call (973) 757-6548.
