FUNDING & BUDGET • Cost-prohibitive proposals obtained from existing maintenance contractors • NJDOT, FHWA, NJDEP, SHPO, USCG, USACE agreed on replacement contracts • Replacement contracts passed NJDOT Screening – February 2016 • $65 million allocated for construction at all thirteen structures • $5 million allocated for design and construction support
