Mr. Ron Brooks, Liaison and Past President to NMI at the Midwest Section’s Annual Meeting, Indianapolis, Dec. 2011. Hometown Lumber Athlete of the Month: Samantha led the Flivver Girl’s tennis team at #1 singles and posted a record of 12-3 on her way to a GNC Championship and UP runners-up title. All-UP Tennis Co-Player of the Year: Samantha Fleming, one of the co-players for the 2011 tennis season. Sam was selected along with West Iron’s standout Kylee Erickson by area tennis coaches. Sam helped lead the Flivver netters to a 6-5-1 record and finished as GNC #1 Singles Champion as well as UP Division 1 runner-up.
