NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION

NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 14, 2017, an Annexation Petition has been filed with the City of Francis requesting annexation to the City of the following described real property located in Summit County, State of Utah: A portion of land located in the Southeast Quarter of Section 28, Township 2 South, Range 6 East Salt Lake Base and Meridian and having a Basis of Bearing taken as South between East ¼ Corner and the Southeast Corner of said Section 28 described as follows: Beginning at a point South 89°51’01” West 880.28 feet from the East ¼ Corner of Section 28, Township 2 South, Range 8 East, Salt Lake Base and Meridian, which point located at the Northwest Corner of the Jean McNeil Acres Subdivision Phase 2; and running thence 328.18 feet along the west line of said subdivision to a fence line; thence South 89°54’37” West 654.15 feet along said fence line to a fence line being the 1/16 line; thence North 327.50 feet along said line to the east/west ¼ Section line; thence North 89°51’01” East 654.16 feet along said line to the point of beginning. Containing 4.92 Acres. The Annexation Petition has been signed by Jeff McNeil, as an authorized representative and Trustee of the McNeil Family Trust, who own One Hundred Percent (100%) of the land area proposed to be annexed to the City. The complete annexation petition is available for inspection and copying at the office of the City Recorder located at 2317 South Spring Hollow Rd., Francis, Utah 84036. Written protests to the annexation petition may be filed with the County Clerk and a copy of the protest must delivered to the City Recorder of the City. Written protests may be filed by the legislative body or governing board of an affected entity or the owner of rural real property as defined in Section 17B-2a-1107. Any such written protest must be filed with the County Clerk and delivered to the City Recorder no later than October 8th, 2017, at the County offices located at 60 N. Main St., Coalville, Utah 84017, and the City offices located at 2317 South Spring Hollow Rd., Francis, Utah 84036. DATED this 21st Day of August, 2017.
