5. Friendship and intimacy to know that at least one other person accepts us totally for who we are.
GROW 1. Read E phesians 2:1113, 19. What stands out to you in this passage? When have you felt like a foreigner? Were you welcomed in? Vs 19 says that we are welcomed into His household. Do you feel like you are part of God’s household? Why or why not? 2. Read Matthew 9:913. What was the profession of the man Jesus called to “his team?” Jesus wasn’t concerned with reserving a spot on the team for someone who was hated and seen as an outcast in that society. Who would be seen as outcasts in our society? Reread vs 11. What did the Pharisees think of this? Are you currently or have you in the past reserved a spot in your life for those seen as outcasts?
3. Koinonia is the Biblical word for community. In the following Scripture verses, God uses His Bible writers to explain some different types of community. Assign a member to read each one and discuss how you can live this out as individuals and in the group. 4.
