Program Development from the Inside Out: An Idea Generation & Teambuilding Exercise • End Results/Next Steps: Program Ideas Developed  6 program ideas were developed  Three were awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd place  Top place went to Water Quality Professional Development  The Academic Coordinator and Associate Dean of Global Campus are working with the appropriate colleges and the Kansas Department of Agriculture to gauge interest.

An Idea Generation & Teambuilding Exercise Benefits  Lower levels in the department were able to collaborate ideas with upper levels.  I liked the opportunity to collaborate across units and think outside the scope of the usual Global Campus activities. It was both challenging and insightful to be a part of developing a potential program from the ground-up! - Ashley Blake, Advisor, Global Campus  I found the Shark Tank activity a good way to network with co-workers who I may not work with every day. - Becca Dale, Advisor, Global Campus  Personally I enjoyed getting to explore the perspectives of others in the group. Since my group was focused on an area that I work on for a living, I have some very specific thoughts. It was very interesting to me to hear the perspectives of others that are not immersed in the same work every day. An Idea Generation & Teambuilding Exercise Program Ideas Moving Forward • Event Management Continuing Education Courses  This professional development program will tie in with the credit program being developed for delivery in Olathe. The program is on track for a first offering in fall 2017. • Cruisin’ K-State  This idea will be presented to the Alumni Association as a potential offering for K-State alumni.
