season, MRBC generously packed 392 boxes; 941 boxes were packed from collected items throughout the year, and the grand total for Ridge Meadows was 4,203 shoeboxes! Imagine the roar of excitement when the children open their boxes! Thank you again for your support and commitment to make a difference in the lives of children around the world.
Ridge Kids & Preschool Choir: Our very own Ridge Kids choir will be giving a special performance on Sunday, December 20th - be sure to invite your family and friends.
Prayer in the Auditorium: Mark your calendars! The next church wide prayer meeting will be held this Wednesday, December 2nd from 7:00pm-8:30pm.
MRBC Business Meeting: Right after the service today, there will be a short business meeting. The single agenda item for the meeting will be election of new Board members. • •

Service Opportunities: There are several opportunities that would allow you to get connected and serve. Tellers: We are seeking more people to assist with this ministry. If you have about 1 hour available after church, once a month, and have some experience counting cash, please contact Sheilagh at [email protected] or Jim at [email protected]. Ushers: We are seeking people to join the ushering team please email Nathan Koehn at [email protected] to sign up. Prayer Team: If you would like to pray for those in the MRBC family and beyond, email the office at [email protected] to be added to the email prayer chain. Ridge Kids: Our kids program is growing and could use your help. Speak to our Children’s Ministry Director, Dayna OlsonBrooks for more info or email her at [email protected]. Safety and Security Team: We are looking for volunteers for this new team. Please contact Pastor Jim at [email protected] if you are interested. Pastor Jon will be teaching a class from January through June 2016. Some topics include: What is the Gospel?, How to read the Bible, How to Share and Defend Your Faith and much more. There is no cost for the class. To register, please email the office at [email protected].

Syrian refugees In light of the ongoing global refugee crisis, some of us are wondering how we at MRBC can be involved. If any of you are feeling burdened by this crisis and are interested in exploring the possibility of sponsoring a refugee family please contact Leanne Cody at 604-308-0752 or [email protected] Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign: Give the gift of your time this Christmas season - consider volunteering for the Kettle Campaign from November 20th through December 24th.
