and EN Standards The Upchurch Scientific® 10-Port NanoPeak Valve is precision engineered for high pressure micro- and nanoscale analyses, including LC-MS and other hyphenated systems (please see the flow diagrams for typical flow path configurations). This valve features ten individual port clamps and NanoFerrules™ for easy, direct connection of 360µm OD capillary tubing. Our 10-Port NanoPeak Valve has an internal port-to-port volume of 44nL. The metal-free, biocompatible ceramic pathways offer excellent chemical compatibility. The valve is pressure rated to 2,500 psi (172 bar). Studies have shown the NanoPeak valves maintain high reproducibility and no signs of wear for over one million actuations. Unfiltered solutions and poor lab practice may decrease the life of the valve. This valve also features easy sample loop volume customization for sample injection. Simply clean cut the length of capillary tubing that represents the volume of sample you want to inject and install it in the valve, taking into account the internal volume of the valve, if required. Introduce sample into a 10-Port NanoPeak Valve using our Micro Injection Port Adapter (M-432). This valve is available premounted on custom electronic actuators — choose from traditional stepper motor or new DC gear motor actuation. A manual version of the valve, with or without a mounting bracket, is also available.
