The tournament director reserves the rights to change the tournament format at any time due to weather or any unforeseen circumstances. No rain date or make up date is planned for this tournament. The tournament fee for this four (4) game guarantee tournament is $450.00. The planned format is for three pool games and an elimination bracket. This format could change in accordance with the team registration or the discretion of the tournament director. This is an ALL sanctioned event. Teams must be sanctioned with the NSA, ASA, USSSA, or PGF in order to participate. Map, directions, lodging, and area attractions can be found at www.victoryparkohio.com. Cancellation Policy: Registration fee will be refunded with the exception of $75.00 prior to July 1st. After July 1st there will be no refund. Rain Out Refund Policy: Fees will be refunded on a prorated basis. No Games played- 50% refund, One Game played- 25% refund, Two or more games played – no refund. In case of rain, managers are responsible for contacting Victory Sports Park to confirm game times and rescheduling. Pool play will utilize single umpire systems. All elimination games will have a double umpire system Registration is limited to a total of 24 teams per division. Deadline July 21st at 5pm. We are accepting teams in the 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u, and 18u divisions. Team trophies and individual awards will be given to the 1 st and 2nd place teams in each age group. NSA Rules will govern all play. A coin flip will determine the home and visitor for each game in pool play. The higher seed will be the home team for bracket play. The home team is responsible for keeping the official scorebook. Scheduled time is forfeit time (no grace period). All teams must be at the field and prepared to play 30 minutes prior to their scheduled game time. All pool games will have a time limit with no new inning starting after an hour and twenty minutes. In pool play, if the score is tied and time has expired then the game will end in a tie. An inning that begins before the expiration of the time limit will be completed and be official. Any team playing 4 pool games will drop the 4 th game played. In bracket play, if the score is tied at the end of regulation play or at the expiration of the time limit, the NSA International tiebreaker rules for Ohio apply until an official winner is declared. All bracket games will be 90 minutes. A mercy rule will apply to all games as outlined by the Ohio NSA. There is a $75.00 “rules” protest fee due, payable in cash, at the time of the protest. The fee will be refunded to the protesting team if the protest is ruled in their favor. No protests will be allowed for judgment calls. Victory Sports Park admission fee for this tournament is $5.00 per person per day for those patrons over 12. All players and (3) coaches per team are admitted free. In addition, no food or beverage will be permitted to be brought into the park. Concessions will be available throughout the tournament. Victory Sports Park, the City of North Ridgeville, and the NSA will not be held responsible for any accident or injury during the tournament.
