Goals of Program • • • •
“Success is a by-product of development” Create a high level of competition. Push the kids to be the best they can We want to eventually have a program for players 5-adult, competitive and recreational. • We are on the right track. We have a men’s team, we have winter programs for mini and competitive, we have a summer camp, we have teams that play tournaments in summer. • Now it is time to create programs that will all flow into each other. • We will be associating with Manitoba Soccer and that will provide our players with more opportunities.

Each session will be 45 minutes to 1 hour in length. • Goal is to work with the kids on soccer skill, agility, coordination and fun. • The idea is to provide the players a fun learning environment • Cost will be $55

Recreational Program • Right now we do not have a recreational program in place. Our goal is to eventually have recreational teams who will practice once a week and play once a week. These teams would act as a stepping stone or feeder system for our competitive teams.
Summer Camp • We will be running a summer camp this year. Right now I am working on affiliating with a European club. If that happens they will send their academy coaches over here to run the camp. It will be an ID camp. • How it works • If you get selected from our camp, you will get invited to attend a national camp in Phoenix or Georgia in the summer. If you get selected from there, you will be invited to go over seas to attend a week long camp there.
Costs • U9-U11 - $450 • You get 4 tournaments, roughly 20 practices, 6-8 games, practice shirt, quality certified coaches, 10 academy/prospect sessions, considered for higher programs within Manitoba Soccer • U12-U16 - $475 • You get 4 tournaments, roughly 25 practices, 4-5 games, practice shirt, quality certified coaches, 10 academy/high performance sessions, considered for higher programs within Manitoba Soccer
• Costs may seem high, and they are if you are comparing it to PYSA. But what we are offering is far and above a recreational 2 month program. • Rough break down to put it in perspective. Per player- Player insurance is $35, practices/games/academy $100, tournaments $200, practice shirts $15, administration, equipment and miscellaneous costs. • In comparison. Winnipeg clubs charge $600-$700. That does not include tournaments or the weekly academy. They charge another $150 for the academy. They do play in a league and get one game per week for roughly 14 games a season and then 2 practices per week. • There are huge benefits to this program above just soccer. What the kids will get from playing competitive soccer will help them in everyday life for years. • To start with it will teach them high level soccer. They will learn how to work for what they want to achieve their goals. How to deal with conflict, how to compete.
Parents Role • The parents role is very simple. Be the biggest cheerleader you can be. Enjoy the moment. Be supportive of your child, coach, team and club. I can list many proud moments I have of my kids from watching them play the game. Some are very simple like watching my son save a penalty shot and seeing his excitement of doing it, others are watching him play in a National competition. So just enjoy your child’s success.
