PRINTING/FRAMING REQUIREMENTS & OPTIONS – DETAILS •
All accepted images submitted for exhibition must be printed and framed either professionally or in a professional manner. Simple dark framing with white or off-white matting is recommended. Artists doing their own printing and framing must submit work ready to hang. Maximum frame dimension is 40 inches on any side and maximum weight is 12 pounds. NVAL hangs with cable hooks, so please use only frame hangers, D-rings or split rings for your hanging hardware.

If the framed print does not substantially meet the appearance of the JPEG entry, or if the print quality, matting or framing are not suitable quality for gallery presentation, the NVAL may ask the artist to replace whichever element is not suitable. If the artist is unwilling to meet these standards, the NVAL reserves the right to replace the entry with another work selected by the juror.

Artist submits framed print ready for exhibit. Please include a label listing artist name, image title, and sales price. Sales price is for framed print. Work returned to the artist will be in the packing material in which it was received. Shipped Work is due at Carter House Gallery April 12 - 27. Hand-delivered work is due at the Carter House Gallery April 12 - 29, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
OPTION 2 – Artist Prints & Mats Image – NVAL Rents Frame

Artist submits mounted and matted print to fit frame sizes 16x20, 18x24, 20x24, 21x21, 22x28 or 24x24 (inches). NVAL will rent the frame, and frame the matted print. Cost to artist is $15 per piece plus the cost of any return shipping. Please include a label listing artist name, image title, and sales price. Sales price is for matted print without frame. NVAL will invoice via PayPal for payment. Work returned to the artist will be without the frame in the packing material in which it was received. Work is due at Carter House Gallery April 12 – 21.
