Oak Hills Time Trial
Oak Hills Time Trial Presented By Pacific Sunset Velo Sunday, January 26, 2014 Held under USCF permit# 2014-320
USAC Categories Senior Men 1/2, 3 & 4/5 Masters 35+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+ & 65+ Senior Women 1-4, Jr. Men & Jr. Women
Public Unlicensed Categories Men 18-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-59 & 60+ Women 18+ and Tandems Rules: All USAC rules apply. Helmet’s Mandatory at all time while on your bike. No faring or fixed gears allowed. Course: will be 8 miles out and back with a 4% climb to the turn around and a down hill return to the finish. This will be a time trial for road or time trial bikes. It will be a challenge for all riders.
Course is open to traffic. Course map on page two Fee: USAC Licensed Riders $25.00, Public $25.00. Fee includes insurance. One day license $10.00. Race day registration only. Awards: 1st place in all categories will receive medals and ribbons to 2nd to 5th placement. Registration: Registration opens at 7:00am and closes at 8:45am. First rider off at 9:00am. After you have finish your time trial, please do not hung around the finish. Go back to parking lot, we will meet there for results and awards. Directions: Oak Hill is located south of Hesperia: Take I-15 north and exit Oak Hill Road, left on Mariposa. @ stop sign make a left at Oak Hill Rd. over the freeway, take a right on Caliente Rd. Drive to the end of the road pass Joshua St. Approx. 4 miles from the summit. You also exit off Route 395 north, @ signal make a left @ Joshus St, right on Caliente Rd. to start and finish. Parking: Park on the right side in empty lot. Please do not park on the streets. Restroom: There will be a portable restroom, please use it ….not the landscape.
