Dissemination (1) Fidia prepared an article for The Industrial Information Technology Handbook, which is being prepared for CRC Press, FL. The book is scheduled for publication in June this year. Fidia submitted an abstract to the CIRP ICME ’04 conference, 4th CIRP International Seminar on Intelligent Computation in Manufacturing Engineering, to be held in Sorrento (Italy) from 30th June to 2nd July 2004. The article submitted by WZL and ISW was accepted in the WGP-Annals (Production Engineering Research and Development in Germany) March/April 2004 16

Dissemination (2) The paper submitted by ISW for the the CIRP 2nd International Conference on Reconfigurable Manufacturing in August 2003, at the University of Michigan (USA) was accepted. ISW gave a presentation about OCEAN at this conference K.U.Leuven presented the OCEAN project on the following events: Realtime Open Source for Mechatronics and Machine Tools Bits&Chips Embedded Symposium, Eindhoven, 29 January 2004 Agoria Symposium on "Embedded Software in Mechatronics Systems", Zwijnaarde, Belgium, 10 December 2003 (Agoria is the Belgian association of technology professionals.)
