TAKING IT ALL AWAY Ouachita leads the GAC in turnover margin, averaging +2 per game. That margin has them tied with two other schools for the best turnover margin in D-II this season. Ouachita’s 11 fumble recoveries are fourth best in D-II, and its nine interceptions are fourth best in the GAC. Through six games this season, Ouachita has 20 turnovers, one less than their season total in 2013. THE DRIVE The Tigers’ drive to tie last week’s game against Harding was 12 plays 80 yards. The drive was longest of the game for the Tigers, who scored on a 15-yard touchdown pass from Kiehl Frazier to Brandon Marks with time expiring. Frazier completed the drive with a three-yard scramble and scamper for the two-point conversion. During the drive, Frazier went 5-9 for 58 yards and rushed for 31 yards. THE PLAYERS CLUB Kiehl Frazier and Matthew Ehasz were recognized for their performances against Harding with GAC Player of the Week honors. It marked the third time this season that the two Tigers have received the award in the same week. In total, Ouachita has received seven POTW honors by six different players. RB Steven Kehner is the only Tiger to date to be recognized twice this year. ONE-TWO-THREE-KICK Senior Kicker Matt Ehasz went 3-3 on field goal attempts at Harding, including the game-winning, 38-yarder in OT to extend the Tigers winning streak to six straight games. It was the second time this season that Ehasz has connected on three field goals in a game. On the season, Matt is 9-10 in FG attempts and 27-27 on PATs. His 90% FG completion percentage is tops in the GAC.
