Official Cook Team Entry Form The 2014 Anne Spring Close Greenway’s Fiddle-N-Pig Shindig will be held at the Dairy Barn in Fort Mill, SC on Friday, Sept. 19th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Saturday, Sept. 20th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Competition is limited to the first 35 cooking teams to register. Cash Prizes will be awarded. See enclosed list for more details. Do you need additional volunteer support on Saturday to provide tastings to the public? _____NO ______Yes I need (circle) 1 volunteer 2 volunteers Up to two volunteers can be assigned to a cook team to help with serving. The volunteers will be not be able to help with putting turn in boxes together or judges turn in. They are there to help serve the public only. This support is open to any team that needs it. If you know you will have plenty of help, please do not request volunteers!

KCBS Four Meat Categories: A change to our event this year is that we are going to a full four meat category KCBS event. This means that each cook team is responsible for providing their own meat for the four category turn in boxes. Meat will only be provided for the People’s Choice. People’s Choice: Each participating team will be provided with 6 8-lb Boston butts on Friday, Sept. 19th after the Cook Team Meeting at 5pm. If you can handle more, please let me know and I will arrange for you to receive more butts. Teams will be given paper products to support the public tastings. Volunteers are available to help with serving the public. Please let me know if you need volunteers well in advance of the event. Unfortunately, I am not able to guarantee that I will have enough volunteers for every team! Due Date: Your entry fee must be received with application form no later than Friday, Sept. 12th. (Make checks payable to the Anne Springs Close Greenway.) The festival committee reserves the right to reject any entry, and no refunds will be made once a team has been officially accepted. Waiver of liability: Contestant agrees to indemnify and hold the Leroy Springs & Co., Inc., and Anne Springs Close Greenway Fiddle-N-Pig Shindig and its committee, staff and volunteers from any and all claims made against same, including without limitation, all costs, liabilities, judgments, expenses, damages or reasonable attorney’s fees arising out of or in connection with any structures erected by the contestant, any equipment or personal property used by the contestant, any act or omission to act of contestant, and any claims made on account of or resulting from contestant’s participation in the contest. I agree to abide by all of the rules of the Anne Springs Close Greenway Fiddle-N-Pig Shindig. I further agree to notify all members of the team I represent about these rules.
