Invigorate Your Private Office The executive private office isn’t what it used to be. Much of the time, the executive isn’t there—either in meetings or traveling. The office may remain empty for hours, even days. To get more from the space, many companies open their executive office doors to others when the executive is away. The single-occupant office becomes a multipurpose setting for sharing and collaboration. This complicates the role of the private office and places greater demands on furnishings. Desks, tables, and cabinetry must simultaneously serve executives, teams, and groups. It must all work together holistically, both visually and functionally. OFS crafted Slate to integrate the capabilities and tools of collaborative spaces into executive private offices. Designed by CSD Studio in Grand Rapids, MI, Slate helps everyone feel comfortable and welcome while supporting the one or the many. “Slate is scalable, customizable, and executive,” says CSD principal Lynda Chesser. “Modular elements let you tailor your office, with boardroom amenities and technology support built into the cabinetry, in easy reach.”

With Slate, you can choose to furnish a private office with either modular or configured elements.

Modular casegoods offer maximum choice and scalability with extensive features and options. Modules combine and integrate as dictated by work and space needs. As change and growth happen, Slate keeps pace. Modules can be swapped out, added, or taken away.

SCALABLE
Workwall units and overheads are wall mounted, so the unit looks seamless. The mix of materials lightens the aesthetic, adding depth and dimension.
For a semi-private office, Slate elements create space-efficient dual workstations that serve each person’s needs equally. If needs change, modules can be repurposed and reconfigured.
Modules offer storage and display choices that serve the executive as well as collaborative groups. Technology access is built into the worksurface, and the media wall supports a monitor or whiteboard.

Slate is designed to be customized. The fine wood veneers convey executive status and refinement in a richly featured work setting. Height-adjustable desks, media support, technology drawers, a pullout server, collaboration tools, power, storage, and display are all neatly integrated.
