Twitter went into overdrive, with fans gushing about his “sharp” suit and “gent” persona. Since then, the ex-TOWIE star – who’s admitted to sleeping with over 100 women – has snogged Marnie Simpson and given us an unexpected flash of “mini Lewis”. Oo-er! But what do his nearest and dearest think of their blossoming romance? No one knows Lewis better than his mum, Claire, so we’re surprised to hear some hesitation in her voice when we ask what she thinks about flirty Marnie, 24. “You’re putting me in a position now,” she says awkwardly, before settling on, “She’s a lovely girl.” Lovely girl or not, Claire, 54, is convinced “gentleman” Lewis, 26, won’t go as far as having sex on TV. “He might have a cuddle and do a bit of spooning but I doubt he’d have sex,” she admits. Nah, he wouldn’t give a monkey’s about Ricky. Do Marnie and Lewis have history? I’m not sure, but when I heard Marnie was going in I thought something had happened between them in the past.
