Benefits
Analyzing on the smallest micron particles using the CJC™ OCM 30X, gives the earliest possible warning for gearbox breakdown. This enables a controlled stoppage, rectify the problem and thereby reduce the severity and the economical consequence of the gear box problem. The constant monitoring of the gearbox, combined with Scada data, give the turbine manufacture the strongest performance optimization tool, ensuring the best product cost/quality equilibrium.
Function
The CJC™ OCM 30X measures according to the ISO: 4406:1999 standard. The monitor is specially designed for high viscous oils, such as gear oils for wind turbines. It is equipped with an air-removal device to enable correct measurements, even if the oil contains large amounts of air-bubbles, as is the norm in wind turbine gears.
Installation
The CJC™ OCM 30X is mounted on the filter-foot of the CJC™ HDU 27/- Fine Filter and to be used solely in conjunction with the CJC™ Fine Filter. When mounting the monitor on the filter housing of the CJC™ Fine Filter, the flow will be very stable over a large viscosity range, enabling the sensor to yield accurate readings, even at low temperatures. The CJC™ OCM 30X has the following options for communication with SCADA/PLC and/or other industrial systems:

Online Trend Measuring
The CJC™ OCM 30X can be delivered with a wireless data device for automatic connection to www. cjconline.dk. This enables web based trends on any computer using a standard web browser.
Calibration
Using the CJC™ OCM 30X Recertification Toolkit, the CJC™ OCM 30X can be recertified in the wind turbine nacelle during a normal service visit. Shipping the monitor back to C.C.JENSEN A/S for recertification is also possible.
