TAPS would like to give a great big THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the Stone House Fundraiser. You raised $2,000 for your school!
The Okarche 4-H Club is collecting H.U.G.S. to be distributed at Kingfisher County Santa’s Toyland. H.U.G.S. is Hats, Underwear, Gloves and Socks. Please bring new items to donate by Friday, December 12 and leave them in the box located in the school entrance.
TAPS is requesting volunteers to bring 2 dozen cookies for the reception following the Christmas Program on December 16. Servers will also be needed. Contact Stephanie Mingus if you are able to help.
Box Tops Competition Congratulations to OSU for winning the Bedlam Box Top Competition again! OU & OSU fans brought in nearly 6,500 box tops. Thank you to everyone who participated!
Yearbook The 2015 yearbook SALE is almost over! Yearbooks are at their lowest price of $35 right now, but the sale ends December 19. When we return to school after Christmas break, the price of the yearbooks will be $40. Purchase now for the best price! Order forms are available in the office and on the school website (www.okarche.k12.ok.us).
Blunck’s Holiday Funpacks If you want to keep the packet sent home from Blunck’s, fill out the envelope and return it with the payment to the school by December 16. If you do not choose to keep the packet, simply return it to the school.
Christmas Connection The Okarche Christmas Connection is asking for your help. They are collecting the following items for their family baskets. Please bring items to the schools by Friday, December 5: instant potatoes, ramen noodles, jelly, macaroni & cheese, snack crackers and ketchup. They also have a need for small stocking stuffer items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair care items, lotion, body wash and small toys. These items will be picked up Tuesday, December 16.
Reminders Tomorrow is Fruity Friday. Please bring fresh fruit that is already prepared and ready to eat. Be sure your child’s name is written in their jackets and other winter wear. All items left in the lost and found will be donated to Goodwill at the end of the year. If your contact information has changed, please let us know. It is very important that we have current information in case of emergency.
